- Gouramis are an excellent addition to community tanks and will not predate on other fish. They are omnivorous and eager eaters. Males can become aggressive toward other colourful fish of the same size which it mistakes for other males and tank mates should be chosen carefully. Gouramis are air-breathers and must have good access to the water surface.

Probably the toughest fish I’ve owned. Really lively and personable. It’s adorable watching them move their little antenna-fins up to the glass when I have my finger against it.
Warning they can move their eyes so you will know when they are staring it you. And they can be a little aggressive if they don’t have enough space
Definitely the best fish and I’ve had the full trio since I first got into fish keeping
