Hygrophila triflora (RARE) aka Wisteria Red Pot

Hygrophila triflora is a rare and highly sought-after variant of the classic Water Wisteria, prized for its potential to develop subtle red to bronze hues across its signature lacy foliage. Combining the fast-growing, easy nature of standard Hygrophila triflora with a unique colour twist, this plant offers something truly different for planted tank enthusiasts.

Its finely divided, fern-like leaves create a soft, flowing texture that contrasts beautifully against broader-leaf plants. Under stronger lighting, stable nutrients, and CO₂ injection, hints of red and copper tones can emerge—though colour intensity may vary depending on tank conditions.

Like its green counterpart, Hygrophila triflora grows quickly and helps absorb excess nutrients, making it a great choice for both aquascaping and maintaining a balanced aquarium. It responds well to trimming and can be shaped into dense, bushy clusters or allowed to grow more freely for a natural look.
