Dosage:

  • Use 6 pumps (12ml) per 50L of water.
  • If planaria, hydra, or vorticella persist within 48hrs, repeat the treatment.
  • Re-treat every 48hrs until pests are eliminated.
  • After the final treatment, perform a 50% water change.

Important Notes:

  • DO NOT OVERDOSE. LCA is not liable for any livestock damage, injury, or death caused by misuse of this product.
  • Carbon must be removed from your filter before treating with LCA Planaria Fix.
  • Increased aeration is strongly recommended as oxygen levels may be lowered.
  • Remove any pet snails as they can be sensitive to LCA Planaria Fix.
  • Siphon any dead planaria/hydra during and after completion of the treatment.

Easier to dose than powdered remedies

I dosed the original neo caridina shrimp tank that had signs of a small Hydra (and some flat worms of unidentified sp.) outbreak after moving some plants between tanks. Two doses as per directions. Bang, done. Problem solved. Then of course it showed in the donor tank (mischling caridinas). Dosed that too. No dramas. Easy to read directions in English.

BRILLIANT stuff! Works on hydra 100% Safe for shrimp, fish and plants (as stated). Our ramshorns, trumpet and bladder snails also survived alongside the ostracods. All are now thriving. As a matter of fact, the guppies and mollies finally dropped fry less than 72 hours after first dosage.
Researched like crazy before buying; didn't want to risk livestock with wormers, bigger fish or 40°-plus treatments.
Obvious impact within an hour of 1st dose in 50litre tank; no noticeable hydra 6 hours later. Second dose not required after initial 48 hours.
Plenty left over, which was great when hydra sighted in 182L tank (which was trashed and "sterilised" a month prior due to major hydra infestation, too many losses to recount here). Week old Pleco fry doing 👍
Still have more than half a 250ml bottle left which is very reassuring.
