I bought the 1kg bag, thinking my shrimps will love this as I was given a smaller packet from Aquatics before and my shrimps and snails loved it. But they don't like this one..! So I have wasted Expensive at $44.95 plus delivery. I won't be buying anymore

They ripped me off big time. Ordered live stock and didn’t receive it. Contacted them 3 times never heard back
The shrimp, plecos and snails love this stuff. The ONLY downside is that one pellet expands into a HUGE mound and I overfed my tank badly until I figured out to break pieces off the pellets and not add any more until all traces had disappeared. I make a point of adding snow to the same area of the tank now, so I can keep an eye on it properly. That pack is definitely going to last a while. Excellent value.
The shrimp love the biofilm that grows on this stuff. I went away for six days, so I popped some in the tank - came back to a clean tank and happy shrimp and snails! My freshwater mussel loves the bits that fly off it too, so everyone's happy!
